This is the third part in a three-part final assignment. Part I was a sentence diagramming exercise, Part II was a grammar lesson plan, and Part III was the reflection. The reflection about where I saw growth and change as a writer.
This was written as a case study that investigates a current online community, and how it responds to the medium of expression it was created in. I chose to examine an IM site called Discord.
For this assignment, we were to choose a favorite passage from an author of our choosing. For mine, I picked the first two pages of Octavia E. Butler's Fledgling.
